Cha Cha Strings is a piece for a beginner string ensemble. Each part, while independent, is usually doubled in another instrument helping provide some coherence and confidence for the players. There is a pizzicato section and staccato bowing to challenge and develop the students’ technique. The piano part is essential, providing extra harmonies and rhythmic interest to the piece. A great piece for the start of the year and one that the players will enjoy!
