About Us

Notable Notes was established in 2011 by Neridah Oostenbroek. Neridah's work as a string teacher prompted her to start writing and composing music that she could use in her own ensembles. Primarily focused towards school aged ensembles, Neridah's compositions promote the enjoyment of music through captivating and exciting melodies. The works share the melodic interest between all the parts throughout the piece to keep the students focused and involved in the music and also to challenge their technical and musical skills.

The works comprise of a variety of levels and styles to appeal to a wide range of students. Some of the pieces have been selected as set pieces for festivals and have been used in schools and workshops around Australia.
